Ardesia Bianco a Spacco draws inspiration from Pietra di Lavagna slate, a natural material extracted only from quarries in Liguria, Italy, whose use reached its peak in Italy in urban architecture of the medieval and Renaissance eras. Featuring a compact surface with a silky-smooth feel, the Bianco finish draws on and transcends tradition, offering new and sophisticated options for use on interiors and exteriors.

Ardesia Bianco a Spacco is part of the I Naturali series, a series inspired by the earth and its material resources, creating new canons of beauty, elegance and distinction on ceramic slabs of timeless appeal. Delicate and highly sophisticated, it envelops the spaces it furnishes in a warm embrace, seeming almost to bestow a touch of familiarity. The large sizes of 1200×3000 mm and 1620×3240 mm are available in different thicknesses, depending on their application of use. They all share the R10 anti-slip finish which makes them particularly suitable for residential and commercial settings where walkway surfaces are frequently exposed to water. The term “A Spacco” refers to the specific craftsmanship technique carried out on the ceramic slab, visible in its finish.

Laminam Ardesia Bianco is a tribute to the natural world – a luxury porcelain tile which draws inspiration from Pietra di Lavagna, a 2500-year old natural slate. Extracted directly from the Italian quarries of Liguria, Pietra di Lavagna has been highly sought after in urban architecture dating back to the medieval and renaissance era in Italy.

Ardesia Bianco Laminam is available in traditional black (Nero) finish and an original white (Bianco) finish as well, providing brand new and refined ways to decorate both indoor and outdoor spaces. Compact and silky-smooth to the touch with its lovely subtle veining, Laminam Ardesia Bianco is a ceramic slab that delightfully exhibits interplays of opacity and transparency. The variety of sizes and finishes makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor walls as well as floors.

Ardesia Bianco has always been known for evoking striking texture from the natural stone dating back to well over 2,000 years. The surface mimics the horizontal veining evident in traditional slate and is an ode to the rock used in ancient architectures. It’s both elegant and sophisticated, offering contemporary options for refined architectural décor.
